A leaner alternative to pork, wild boar tends to be darker in colour than pork so will give your home sausages/burgers a slightly more intense flavour and colour. The trimmings contain off cuts from the leg, shoulder and the flank. Ideal for you to mince at home for tasty home made burgers or sausages or use it for recipes containing mince.

The trim will contain fat and sinew, making up at least 20% of the product. The amount of fat will vary according to the season as wild boar put on more weight in the summer, losing it in the winter. It also depends on the age of deer the culled by deer managers.

We are aware that many customers also use this products in raw food diets for their pets.

Vacuum packed. Shelf life fresh once packed is up to 8 days.
