Free range lamb

Our lamb comes from Stuart and Jayne Eglington, who farm near Eye in Suffolk. The farm is family run with their three daughters and three faithful working collie dogs, who are always willing to help! The lambs are bred using a Suffolk tup (Dad) on a Charolais cross ewe, producing a lovely traditional lamb carcase. The lambs are born in a straw yard and then spend the rest of the time with their mothers on grass.

The Eglingtons’ also produces free-range eggs, and have a business selling lambskins for rugs and soft furnishing at www.woollycomforts.co.uk.
