Quail - Boned and Stuffed

This is really the only civilised way of eating quail. A bone-in quail is so fiddly on the plate that one has to eat it with ones hands to be sure to get all the meat off. So most people go for an easy life and have the boned quail which is stuffed with either a gluten-free wild boar sausage meat, plum and ginger stuffing or a meat-free apple and cranberry stuffing. Both complement the quail meat well and make a superb dinner party main course.

If you would like to use your own stuffing, we also offer  boned quail for you to stuff your self.

Too cook:

Heat Oven to 180 degrees or Gas Mark 7

- Wrap quail in foil and place in oven for 15 mins

- Take foil off and return the bird uncovered into oven for a further 5 mins

- Remove from oven. Cover with foil again and leave to rest for 5 mins before carving

Delivery Information

Your order will be dispatched within 2 working days or you can specify a preferred date when you checkout. Standard delivery is available from Tuesday to Friday, morning or Saturday deliveries are also available.

All our meat is delivered using an overnight signed for courier service. Our packaging is designed to keep your order in fridge like conditions for the 24 hours of the delivery period.

Delivery is free for orders over £85, £7.95 for orders between £20-£85 and £11.95 for orders under £20. Additional charges apply for morning and Saturday delivery slots regardless of order value. Large orders can sometimes incur a £5 additional weight delivery charge. This often applies to the in-fur products which have to be dispatched in two consignments when 8 or more are ordered together.
