Squirrel

To be quite clear the squirrel offered here is the illegal alien  - the Grey Squirrel  - and not our native Red Squirrel. The Red is being outcompeted by the Grey for food and resources as well as being killed by the ‘pox’ disease carried by the Grey.  So the Grey is being culled all over the country by gamekeepers, foresters and gardeners but is being thrown away and not eaten. The Americans love squirrel meat and have a culture of eating it and we should eat it too rather than wasting it!

It a light coloured meat like rabbit but is finer textured and has a more subtle flavour.
